Minister Douglas Alexander MP On A Mad Despot

It is an "outrage", says UK International Development Secretary Dougie, 12, from Wee Bonny Scuntland, that "he" can attend a meeting about feeding the poor "while his own people are left to starve".

He added: "This is not a man with any credibility or any contribution."

Bizarrely, however, you will staggered to learn that he's talking about Robert Mugabe, who at least had the brevity to hold an admittedly rigged election which he still lost, then dismissed, and will now rig the next one with the aid of a few more armed militia.

Unlike Dougie's lust figure, that is, his fellow Scot and great-of-late Sub Prime Minister Broooon, who despite presiding over an economy so desperately in plight - despite all of his best efforts which now don't actually amount to much, do they? - that buying petrol means taking out a new mortgage (preferably from Northern Rock, as that way Broooon still gets the interest payments on the money he robbed off us in the first place) and food bills are akin to the bill for procuring a half pound of freshly sliced tiger penis in a Chinese market, doesn't believe in such trivial things as "elections".

Funny that.

Wankers.

This photograph was taken of me and my mate Chris yesterday evening by his wife, Sue, who was celebrating her birthday.

He's a chef (as is the missus).

I, on the other hand, have no excuse.

drunk

And, um, why can I not remember for a second this being taken?

The Next Big Thing

Keeping up with friends' blog posts used to be hard enough, what with the added distraction of instant messaging and regular emails and filthy animal porn of work clogging up your day.

Then Facebook came along and squeezed yet more hours from our busy days.

And to think we thought that could be confusing and interfering.

Now see what Google and - if they agree to it, which they probably will eventually, because who says no to Google? - Facebook are about to inflict upon us, and which we will no doubt all hate to start with but then end up completely addicted to.
