However, rumours that the fez-wearing spy monkey didn't actually die as first thought after eating the poisoned date and did, in fact, make a full recovery after a protracted stay in a veterinary hospital, and thus makes a welcome return in a changed-his-ways-and-just-wants-to-help-Indy stylee are, I'm told, by exclusive sources close to the set, completely wide of the mark.
