Zeds: "Oh, I see Hilary Clinton has won the New Hampshire primary."

Girl colleague: "Oh, has she?"

Z: "Yeah, bit of a surprise. Everything seemed to be pointed at Obama."

GC: "That's what I thought. I'd really like to see him get in, actually."

Z: "Really? I disagree. I know Hilary's a bit staid but with her you get Bill, too, and he wasn't all bad."

GC: "I still prefer Obama, though."

Z: "Hmm, maybe next time. I reckon he needs more time in Washington before we put him in charge of the world's largest nuclear arsenal."

GC: "It's not that. 'Hilary' is my boyfriend Richard's ex-girlfriend's name, and I don't want that being bandied about all the time."

"You know what I'd like, right now?" asked Zeds.

"Nope," squawked Nipper.

"To go to sleep in a huge, warm marshmallow."

"Why do you pronounce it as 'mellow' though?"

"Dunno. It's weird."

"But not as weird as wanting to sleep in one, eh?"
