An email arrives....
Hi Justin,
I run a group called Young Embroiderers which caters for children aged between 8-17,the emphasis is on sewing but we have tried crafts such as paper making, weaving, felt making and bags from recycled crisp packets. We recently won a national competition for members when we made a bird mobile from waxed teabags. Their work has also been on show all over the country including Little Moreton Hall and the Knitting and Stitching show in London , Harrogate and Ireland.
Our next meeting on the 5th January we are having a session on canvas work lead by Rubina P. Rubina does a lot of fundraising work for an orphanage in India, she also travels there several times a year to give hands on teaching to the women and children who live there.
I wonder if you think this would make an interesting story for your paper.
One word: No.

Surely you can't summarily dismiss poor Rubina without at least going along to her session and making a birdcage from coffee granules?
